In a bid to discover who Anne is, the production flickers through a series of 17 scenes, with Annie at the centre – a fundamental pivot around which this postmodern story is told rather than a character in her own right.

With no anchoring plot, or clearly defined characters and specific dialogue, this is a play about a multitude of often conflicting narratives, presenting its own set of challenges for director and audience alike – a complex scenario that goes hand in hand with the complexities of the contemporary society in which we live.
