Multi-award-winning international hit BLANKET BAN is finally making its premiere in Malta at Spazju Kreattiv.

Written and performed by Davinia Hamilton and Marta Vella, it delves into the repercussions of Malta’s strict laws on abortion. This verbatim piece was created through interviews and extensive research. Documenting real life stories and experiences, it invites its audiences to reflect on the country’s current situation.

Blanket Ban is part of the Spazju Kreattiv Programme 2024/2025, produced by Chalk Line Theatre and supported by Arts Council Malta.

* On 14th of March, Blanket Ban will deliver a relaxed performance meaning that sound and light will be slightly altered and people can go in and out. There will be also a touch tour available 30 mins before the performance

Touch tour: 
Audiences with access needs are invited to arrive 30 minutes before the show to receive a tour of the theatre space, where they will be able to interact with the set and props to get a sense of the playing space before the performance.
