Do you know who you are? Join us for a screening of Annihilation on 12th December at 7pm at Spazju Kreattiv Cinema.

Following the disappearance of her husband, cellular biologist and former US Army soldier Lena (Natalie Portman) leads a group of explorers into “The Shimmer,” a mysterious quarantined zone caused by an alien presence. Once inside, the explorers encounter a world of mutated landscapes and creatures, as dangerous as it is beautiful, that threatens both their lives and their sanity. Their journey leads them to reflect on what makes them them. Following the screening, join our experts for a discussion on what makes us humans human, and how our DNA can already be manipulated or cloned. The big question is: while we might have the technology, how should we use it? Guest speakers will include Professor Joseph Borg (professor of haematology and genetics at the University of Malta) and representatives from the student organisations MMSA, MPSA and MBSA.
