Can science fiction stories become true? I Am Legend is a post-apocalyptic action thriller film starring Will Smith as US Army virologist Robert Neville.

The film is set in New York City after a virus, which was originally created to cure cancer, has turned humans into cannibalistic mutants. Neville is immune to the virus, and he works to develop a cure for the outbreak using his own blood while searching for other survivors and defending himself against the bloodthirsty mutants.
