Elektronika is a project which was launched in February 2021 and aims to develop a historiography of electronic music in Malta. During 2021, Elektronika went through a phase during which a series of 4 oral history sessions were held. These sessions explored the development and evolution of the electronic music scene in Malta.

In this upcoming public presentation, followed by a performance, the results of this first research phase of Elektronika will be presented by Mike Bugeja and Dr Toni Sant from the M3P Foundation. During this event, Salvatore Muscat, also known as Sequenchill will be the special guest. Salvatore will be interviewed briefly by Mike Bugeja, following which he will be performing a one hour dj set.

This project is managed by Electronic Music Malta together with the M3P Foundation and is supported by Arts Council Malta. This event is part of the Circuits and Spazju Kreattiv Programmes.
