The concert program features a delightful blend of classical and traditional Christmas music, offering a heartwarming and festive experience. It begins with Bruno Coulais’ “Vois sur ton chemin” and Jean Philippe Rameau’s “La Nuit,” both beautifully performed by soprano and alto voices accompanied by a piano, setting a serene and enchanting atmosphere. Edward Elgar’s “The Snow” adds depth with its ethereal melodies, featuring soprano, alto, and two violins supported by a piano. Gustav Holst’s “A Christmas Greeting” combines “I Saw Three Ships” and “Masters in This Hall,” taking the audience on a journey through spirited carols. The concert further explores Christmas traditions with “Traditional Maltese Carols” and concludes with the captivating “Carol of the Bells.” The grand finale is John Rutter’s “Dancing Day,” a magnificent 18-minute composition that weaves together various carols, creating a powerful and uplifting conclusion to this festive musical journey.
