Malta Café Scientifique – Colonial type or historical legacy?

7 November 2023 @ 7:00 pm

The definition of Cultural Heritage in Malta is ever-evolving and often raises public discussions around the cultural value of colonial buildings in cities. Join architect and design researcher Kristine Pace’s talk on November 7th 2023, 7pm, hosted by the Malta Café Scientifique in Studio B at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta.

As part of her research, Kristine invites you to map the ongoing changes in the Maltese urban environment to discuss the challenges of defining ‘cultural heritage’ in the postcolonial context ofMalta.

Malta Café Scientifique thanks the STEAM project, Spazju Kreattiv, for hosting this event, the University of Malta, and Malta Chamber of Scientists (of which the café forms part).
