Malta Café Scientifique – Mind the Gap!

Can we fill all the gaps in the map of our brain? Embark into a mental mapping exercise and rethink how our brain connects and functions with the use of cutting-edge technology. Join Dr. Claude Bajada from the University of Malta’s BOB Lab on April 9th, 2024, at 7pm hosted by the Malta Café Scientifique in Studio B at Spazju Kreattiv.
Dr. Bajada will present the “Vogt-Bailey Toolbox,” a brain-mapping software that quantifies the “blurriness” of boundaries in the outer layer of the neural tissue, known as cerebral cortex. Discover the wide implications for brain research advancement with significant applications for mental health diagnosis and prognostic solutions.
