MPO’s Sub-Leader Reggie Clews joins forces with London-based violinist Nadine Galea to perform an eclectic programme varied in style, technical dexterity and composition period in an intimate setting at Spazju Kreattiv’s Studio B.

The boisterous works by Igudesman complement Wienawksi’s flair as De Bériot illustrates the violin’s virtuosity, championed by Paganini in the 19th century. Prokofiev’s neo-classical style is evidenced in the Double Sonata as the chamber recital features contemporary British composer David Matthews and Halvorsen’s popular arrangement of Handel’s Passacaglia.

This concert is a collaboration between the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) and Spazju Kreattiv.
