As the English saying goes: ‘A problem solved is a problem halved’ as burdens seem to become more bearable. This is precisely what three mothers do when they are faced with close-to-unbearable situations which, nonetheless, they must find a way to carry. The experiences described and related by each of these three women, in fact, forms the core around which this theatrical production revolves.

Appropriately enough, the main themes of the production are suffering, guilt and emotion – difficulties which are essentially no different to the problems humans are constantly dealing with, in differenti scenarios, throughout their life.

This production is structured in such a way that the viewer is brought to the realisation of the great amount of suffering that plagues human existence – of the many problems and difficulties common people must deal with in their daily life, of the many differenti stories that each individual has to tell.

The producers of this play, who incidentally are the ones of the highly successful Kristu Fi Strada Stretta, are ensuring that this production is no differenti when it comes to promoting artistic and theatrical values which, furthermore, express an innate aspect of the Maltese identity. All this in a highly emphatic environment of lights and sound which contribute further to achieving an ideal and convincing ambience for this contemporary piece.
