SACES – Architecture Student EXPO 2022
The Architecture Student EXPO is a celebration of everything the Faculty for the Built Environment does at the University of Malta.
It is an opportunity for the creativity of students to be communicated to society through designs, sketches, digital graphics and architectural models. Students will showcase what their upcoming interpretation of spaces and structures could be and what ambitions there are for the world we live in.
During this five-week exhibition, students will be displaying works from all corners of the faculty, from Diploma in Design, to Masters and Doctorate levels, with their vision for this event going beyond a simple exposition of student works. Their goal is to create a relationship between the architectural student community and the public, allowing students’ works and research to be transformed into a resource for our island.

The Malta Architecture and Spatial Planning Awards is a means of providing recognition to individuals who would have left an impact on the practice of architecture and the built environment.
A selection of 2021 MASP award-winners will be discussing their thoughts and presenting their acclaimed works.
CODE RED 11/10
Tuesday 11th October, 2022, 7 pm
Following the United Nations’ issuing of a Code Red in relation to the climate emergency which we currently find ourselves in, Din L-Art Helwa has set up the ‘DLH Code Red’ initiative. This project invites students, specialists, scientists and interested individuals to help fight for the needed action both on a national and international scale.
This event will be one of the first in relation to this project, where their plan of action and eventual goals will be discussed.
Archi-Babble 25/10
Tuesday 25th October, 2022, 7 pm
Archi-Babble is an event from the SACES calendar which allows a diverse selection of panelists to come together to have an informal debate between themselves, as well as the audience present. This edition of Archi-Babble will compare the developments being made in the Maltese architectural scene, to advancements simultaneously being made in exemplary international cities.
