Written in 1890 by Frank Wedekind, this play tackled a myriad of issues young people face in society. Still valid today, it is being adapted for today’s audiences by Brad Birch and directed by James Grieve.

SPRING AWAKENING is a play about a group of children growing up.
It is about a group of children who realise the world is much more complicated than they were led to believe.

It is a play about power.
It is a play about innocence.
It is about experience
About growing up.

On Friday 4th November (after the performance), a Taħdita Teatru will be organised with Brad Birch and James Grieve together with moderator Colin Fitz to discuss the process behind this play, from page to stage.
