A group of stage enthusiasts are preparing for the passion play in their community. ‘Consummatum Est’ is one of the countless plays performed during these times.
However, during rehearsals, a situation arises that sets this play apart from the other nine hundred and ninety-nine. The person in charge of the props is taking a considerable amount of time to bring the handkerchief on which Veronika will imprint the face of Christ. Its prompt arrival is crucial for the progression of rehearsals. The face must bear a striking resemblance to the main actor while being printed or inked flawlessly. After all, it represents the visage of God. This predicament poses a significant challenge for ‘Consummatum Est’. Could there possibly be larger issues to contend with? Will Veronika finally behold the face of God?
