Her Say (not Hearsay) commissioned by Spazju Kreattiv is a theatre project, with original writing, that delves into the lives of three different women, exploring relateable stories. Our first monologue looks goes back to 1945, when working women were being made redundant and the repercussions therein. Our character, a fierce young woman , emblazened by the suffragette movement, rises to challenge the religious and social aspects of society at the time, which finally resulted in women achieving the vote in 1947.
