A broken fairy tale for broken people.

When real life gets too much to bear, even grown-ups turn to stories to try and make sense of things.

A storyteller recounts the tale of Magnus Coffinkey, who must repair an ancient bell atop a lofty spire in order to meet the one that he’s destined to love. A fall leads to his untimely death, and the beginning of his dark ordeal.

Co-written by Malcolm Galea whose international awards include the Best Newcomer Award at Brighton Fringe (2022) and the Off-West End Theatre Award for Best New Musical (2011), The Trials of Magnus Coffinkey is a haunting fairy tale about grief and life after loss.
